In today’s fast paced and frenzied environment we often forget to set aside quality listening time. Moments when we can focus our attention entirely on the great sound of our favourite artist or the hidden delights of a well-loved melody.
Our Linn Lounge events give you the chance to hear great music from some iconic artists on a Linn system, while also learning about their motivations and creative influences.
We've got some great events planned for the coming months so please get in touch to book your place.
To be one of the first to hear about future events please join our MAILING LIST.

We had a foot stomping evening at the prestigious showroom of Hamilton and Inches in Edinburgh listening to Mumford and Sons latest album, Babel. As well as learning about their influences like the Old Crow Medicine Show we heard from West End Folk Scene contemporaries Laura Marling and Noah and the Whale the guys also joined with some video footage talking about their recent success making them arguably the most successful band of 2012.

We had a great night in the plush surroundings of the Clydesdale Bank's Private and Business Banking Centre in East Klibride. We started the evening with the presentation on Mark Knopfler taking us through the amazing story of this talented singer songwriter. Sultans of Swing, Money for Nothing and Brothers in Arms took us through the late 70s and 80s, followed by some of Mark's more recent solo work on Sailing to Philadelphia and Privateering played in glorious studio master. Following some refreshments the guests ( DJs ) helped us enjoy the power of the Klimax system with some great tracks from Fleetwood Mac, Led Zeppelin and Massive Attack. Thanks to all who made it such a fun event.

We enjoyed a fantastic evening listening to George Harrison, Early Takes Vol1 at the stunning new Palazzo kitchens cook school. Thanks again to Antonietta for the wonderful food. Below (middle) is our prize draw winner for the evening Lesley Skinner.

Watson Downie celebrated 50 years of The Rolling Stones as part of Uddingston Musicfest at Uddingston Cricket and Sports Club. We'd like to thank all those who attended this evening of Rock and Roll. I think the debate on whether "Miss You" is a disco track will run for some time...
Centred is our prize draw winner, James Connelly who takes home all 50 tracks of Grrr!
